At Sunny Woods Resort we offer a variety
of lodging packages and every amenity you and your family may desire.  If
you're a business traveler we have six, clean comfortable motel
rooms for those overnight stays and we are located right on
US 31, 20 minutes west of Traverse City.
If
you are planning a vacation we have cabins, cottages and a campground,
on 15 acres, all a short walk from the Platte River
and close to all the recreation and sight-seeing venues the
sportsman or vacation traveler is looking for in Northwest Michigan.
 We
are a full-service resort destination with an outdoor heated
pool for you and the kids, two children's play areas and a well
stocked convenience store, right on the property.

MOTEL

 Sunny Woods Resort offers six, clean, comfortable motel rooms for the overnight
or weekend, vacation or business traveler. Each of these newly redecorated units is available year-round.
Every motel rooms has a
small refrigerator, microwave oven, in-room coffee, phone, cable television and air conditioning.
Rooms are available with either a single, queen-size bed or two, full-size beds.
 The heated, full-size swimming pool and kids play areas are located on the resort and available for all the motel
room guests.
The onsite convenience store is open evenings if you desire a quick snack before relaxing for the night or want
to grab a cold beverage, coffee or a snack before you continue on your journey in the morning. |

 Sunny Woods Resort offers traditional Northern Michigan lodging opportunities where
families, fishermen, hunters, and snow skiers have been staying for over a decade.
Everything you need to set up housekeeping for a long weekend or week-long
stay are included. In addition to cable television and air conditioning, each unit includes a refrigerator, gas stove, cooking
and eating utinsels, bedding, coffee maker and toaster.
 Outdoor furniture, charcoal grills, and fire ring for those evening gab sessions are just outside your door.
The heated pool, kids play area are just a few steps from
your door and the on-site convenience store is half a minute
away . . . if forgot to pack the ketsup and mustard for the kid's hotdogs
and hamburgers. Accommodations sleep up to six adults.

MODERN

 Sunny Woods has recently added three new stand along cottages including one two
bedroom unit and two single bedroom units with sleeping loft.
All the conveniences of home are included with these, the newest additions,
to the accommodations available at Sunny Woods Resort.
The two bedroom cottage can sleep up to six adults with and extra bunk for a little one.
 Spend a quiet evening on the deck after a barbeque and the Upper Platte River can be heard in the background.
The one bedroom cottages feature a sleeping loft. What kid wouldn't enjoy spending the night in the sleeping loft,
and there is room enough for two with it's full-size bed.
 A full-size refrigerator, gas stove, microwave oven, central
heat and air conditioning, cable television, kitchen utinsels and bedding are included.
What
a great place to stay year-round, close to half a dozen golf
courses, several ski areas, snowmobile trail-heads, and major
shopping centers.
And
don't forget the heated pool, play areas and camp store.

 Sunny Woods Resort offers a perfect camp site setting.
There are 35 sites available with full, electric, water and sewer hookup,
also a Bath House with modern toilets and coin-operated HOT
showers. Campsite rental is available by the night, weekend, week, and
season.
We
have several season-long guests who make the Sunny Woods Campground
their weekend retreat from the city.
 We
can accommodate every campers' needs whether they rustic camp
in a tent or pop-up, pull a self-contained trailer or drive
a motor-home.
We
even offer storage facilities for your unit. All the amenities of the resort are close by including a store, kids play area and heated pool. |
